From the Beautiful to the Good
The cross is ugly in the conventional sense, but if you see with the supreme expression of faith, it's beautiful. Aquinas says the beautiful occurs at the intersection of integritus, consonouncia, and claritas - meaning wholeness, harmony, and radiance. I love how you come back with Mother Teresa and can speak of the clearly, maybe we call it a moral beauty for Christ.
