I'm a Dirty Generativeist, Right?

Taylor: My training is 150% generative. I actually took the time last night to tally up the number of professors that I've worked directly with who were Chomsky students or worked indirectly with Chomsky as part of their advising committee. And there's this list of seven here that he have worked with that are like either Chomsky's advisees or like I'm his grandbaby in terms of linguistics, right? So I am the most generativeist you can- Yes. It seems a little bit- Well, yeah, it's changed over the years, right? Like I remember being an undergrad and I thought functionalists were like mythical.like I didn't think that they existed.
