Liz trust's half an hour speech wasn't the finest of soaring oratory but it did what was required to just stabilise things a little bit after this chaotic week. But she didn't have clarity of thought about who its enemies were and both wanted to rail against woke virtue signalling. The anti-growth coalition which I think sort of took the meter for speech is Labour, Lib Dems, SNP trade unions vested interest dressed up as think tanks talking heads Brexit deniers extinction rebellion people who prefer talking on Twitter to taking tough decisions they tax you from north London townhouses to BBC studios. It doesn't really stack up when you've been in power 12 years and I also think that whole coalition
