Congress's Role Is to Convince Americans That This Is an Ongoing Threat

Congress's role here, unlike DOJ's, isn't to convict anyone. Their role is to put together a fact finding so that the American people have an authoritative version of what occurred leading up to January 6th. Part of their job today will be to encourage us to understand the ongoing threat.
