Theodosia Burr's Story
Theodosia Burr was born just six months before the end of the American Revolution. She and her father had a somewhat unconventional path to marriage, especially for colonial era people. They met while Theadosia Senior was still married to a British officer with the Royal American Regiment. After Prevo's unexpected death from yellow fever they very openly had an affair.
