The government was drag kicking and screaming to actually have a windfall tax. Richard Ziedak introduced this massive loophole in it, which is handing money back to them. I thought they'd made the tax-free investment bid at the last budget. They'd also put the rate of the windfall tax up. The question is how do we have a sustainable route to lowering energy bills? That's why the answer is what I call the green sprint. It's the only way homegrown clean power is the only way to get off that rollercoaster of fossil fuel prices.
