Is Ukraine a Depopulating Slavic Enclave?

Ukraine's population is declined from 52 million when the Soviet Union fell to around 38, 39 million shortly after the Maidan Revolution. The pan-touranist ideologues who want all that lower part of Russia broken up so that a larger Turkish union could happen there would not be very happy with it. But they think they would. Their ideology, which is what allows them to fight, also leads them there.
