When the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam passed away, Abu Bakr al-Dilaw Al-Taraanhu was actually out of the city of Medina. He went straight to the house of his daughter Aisha and knelt down in front of her as she kissed him on the forehead. This is how we take the fiqh or one of the rulings of kissing the death from this moment. And then he walked out to the Masjid where a man called al-Mrudil al-la threatened people who said that the Prophet had died. The prophet's face shone brighter than the moon when he came back home after being dead for 40 days
