We went to the nearest places where we could report freely, which is on the Thai border in a town called Maisoch. The long-standing wars happened there between ethnic groups and the Burmese government. But now it sounds from what you're saying, so that's widened out quite a lot to include Burmese people fighting their own government. They rose up after the coup, they took to the streets protesting peacefully, took to social media and Twitter and expected the world would act, would help them. And then they've been telling us over the years, since the coup, that they feel left alone to the international community,. so they decided to take up arms and have joined
