The Importance of Thread and Matter in the Smart Home
I feel like every device I measure against the lutron speed and reliability because lutron is just so spot on rock solid. For a home, if you've got smart switches, it does make a lot of sense to just stick with one brand. Thread uses multiple bridges and it does use bridges, the border routers, but multiple ones. So if you have five thread border routers and one drops offline, your home will still keep working. If you have one hubridge or one lutron bridge and one drops online, nothing is going to work anymore.
