The two-year had fallen off a cliff this morning and the market was recently giving like a over 60% probability of a 50-bits rate hike next FOMC meeting. That happened in like days and now Goldman no longer even expects of rate hike either. In a way this is a method that the Fed can have their cake and eat it too. They can make sure that public confidence is stable and banks have all of the liquidity that they need but by the same token the market certainly doesn't believe that. The jury is in. It's never been more clear. The Fed in all likelihood, I won't say in my estimation yet but it seems like they're done with hikes
