How Much Is the Food Insecurity Rising Right Now?
The hunger map gathers all this information and using certain methods machine learning algorithms internally developed, try to assess what the food insecurity of the population at any given day looks like. Currently, this is fully functional for 36 countries and hopefully we will be able to expand that. We are still looking into improving the methodology we use. It's nowhere close to be perfect. Most of the time we do the best evidence based information we can. But that's largely a work in progress to be able to estimate that.
