Is There a Mindset Shift in Your Training?

Amber: If you feel like you're constantly missing out on one or two workouts, dialing back can be really great for your motivation. Last year I had 271 days of training last year, training or racing out of the 365. That's like darn near six days per week average. Right now I'm not following a plan. I'm using train now because even following a low volume plan was too much for me with all the different life stress that I have right now. It's okay to go through those time frames. We should normalize the fact that our life ebbs and flows.
