What's the Question of a Republic?
It's no good any longer to just think about the question of a republic as, oh, do you think we'll become a republic when the queen dies? Or when? When will it happen? No, that's not good enough. You've got to turn the question and look at your own country and what's wrong with our own constitution. That's where we should start.
