The Influence of Aristotle on Judaism
He's looking in two directions, one to Judaism and the other one to philosophy. With regard to Judaism, what I think he takes as other Jews did is the idea that this people is the unique possessor of a revelation from God. And there he's looking to these two sources, Greek philosophy in one way or another. But some of the great Christian writers such as Augustine are commonly influenced by this neoplatonic tradition which is a very strong intellectual tradition.
