Simon Peyton Jones and Tim Sweeney at Lambdas 2023

Simon Peyton Jones gave the opening keynote of day two this morning with Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney. He is an academic computer scientist who works on functional programming languages in particular and Haskell language verse. Also quite involved in thinking about what young people should learn about computing in their school education, working to reform computing education looks like in the UK.
