The Importance of Context in Product Orientation

The product orientation, I think, is just like you said, it starts at the end. It's being very well aware of what the objectives are. And then compiling the right set of technology solutions that need to be built or bought in order to facilitate that. The idea of context is really trying to investigate what is the problem we're trying to solve. We don't start with, let's haul this data from 15 systems. Let’s put it all together into something and then clean it up  and then we'll have all these spigots ready to serve stuff out of them.
