ADHD and Tourette Syndrome

In most cases for academic impairment, the ADHD tends to be contributing more than the Tourette's. When combined with ADHD, you see more impairment when we have this triple combination of Tourette plus ADHD plus OCD which is actually quite common. White children are twice as likely to have a TS diagnosis than black or Hispanic youth. Black students are suspended over twice the rate of their representation in schools.
