How Can You Be Perfectly Happy in Heaven if People or Things You Love Aren't There?
Eight-year-old Arthur asks how you can be happy in heaven if people or things you love aren't there. Marie Antoinette: I'm glad you're thinking too about these serious things because that question too has been entertained by a lot of our great theologians. Are there some people who are in hell that are forever apart from God? Well, we know it from God's perspective, that they're there because they've resisted God's love. They're there as a result of God's justice. And so my happiness is not compromised by that.
