Empathy in Relation to Love and Responsibility

Empathy is what gives us others as personal subjects. When we act in relation to one another, we have to be cognizant of each other's ends. This shows up wonderfully in Voiti when love and responsibility are undergirding structure for that. The problem isn't when you use people, the problem is when you subordinate their dignity to whatever it is you want affected maybe or do I have that wrong?
