The Cold War and the Repression of the United States
During the cold war we were told that communism was the enemy and it was the antithesis of american freedom. This period is so important for us especially in terms of historical memory because there's probably no other period in history where we have had a stronger revolutionary movement than during this time. We really need to focus on these periods as more complex than just a sort of class struggle which has been the trend of the united states.
