The Disappointment of Life

The movie revolved around laundry and taxes, but also explores the deeper theme of despair bordering on nihilism. When Mary finally brings herself to look inside the tomb, she sees two angels and she doesn't flinch. Both the angels and Jesus ask her the same question: Why are you crying? This is interesting because they know why she's crying. But sometimes it's not until someone asks us what we're crying about that we know what to say.
