The Reputation of SSRIs

SSRIs dull our senses a little bit. And so then working through some of that becomes quite challenging for people in the psychotherapy. I think that's potentially why it doesn't work. Most common side effects is sexual dysfunction, gastric problems for some people. They can make some people feel detached. Do they affect cognition like ketamine? No, not really. So the issue that you're talking about here is got so many complexities to it. It's not simple. You've asked the question that's packed with so many issues here. And I do see that they really do help a large portion of the community.
