Do Discovery Interviews Before You Test Your Service
A great thing to do before you even get into prototyping and all that stuff is to actually do what's called, um, discovery interviews. These are another part of the process for a lot of designers. And then that kind of helps you to figure out a good direction to go in. The other thing is to make sure that you are testing with people who are actually in the core user group of the people you're looking for.
