Apple's iCloud security guide says that some metadata and usage stored in iCloud remains under standard data protection, even when advanced data protection is enabled. So the use of those check sums of de-duplicate information in the cloud, even when it's encrypted, is called convergent encryption. And that has some notable issues that could let an attacker know what you have.
