How to Get Rid of Alcoholism

i'm frustrated at how often religion kind of ruins everything. Why can't we as humans just stick with the simple, elegant, good stuff and not always have to destroy it with dogma and patriarchy? i think it takes people who are dealing with something as serious as alcoholism, something where they're everything i've tried to do, it has not helped me. I don't know what to dofeel, ye, life or death. It takes those kind of stakes for someone to go, we're going to create a thing that is this simple, elegant message, and we cannot afford to corrupt it with anything else.
