Is There a God?
An atheist does not have an overt version of theological faith because he doesn't believe in god. He nevertheless has the disposition implicitly, so that if he knew there was such a god, well, then he would believe what god says. And similarly, i think it's possible for an atheist to have implicit equivalents of the other theological virtues, hope and charity. Even though he is not convinced intellectually that god exists, it would be through that inner openness to the graces and virtues of faith,. hope and charity, that he would be able to have a saving connection with god without being aware of it.
