"I was not booking clients. It didn't seem like things were getting more promising over the course of these eight months I was experimenting," she said. "It was a bummer. If I invested this money, I'd spend this stuff and it didn't work." She decided at that point that she was done spending money on Pinterest.

Last season I was optimistic about what Pinterest could do for my small business. So I invested a little time, a lot of effort, and a few thousand dollars into pins on the platform.
