What Is Platonism in Christianity?

For the majority of Christian history, something like a Christian plate andism was just in the water. Augustine came to the Christian faith as he highlights so beautifully in his confessions through his reading of what he calls the Platonic books. C.S. Lewis was a Christian Platonist.
