I think there's so many things I've learned and really felt the lessons, one of which is nobody gives a damn when your photos are gone and all that kind of stuff. The thing time and time again, I saw for people that lost everything is how happy they are for the people. They're just nonstop saying how lucky they are that person X, person Y is still here. So in February when Russia invaded Ukraine, this is the thing I realized about war: That war creates generational hate. It destroys histories, generations, like life stories that stretch across the generations. We don't know what's going to happen in the 21st century but it might be another World War III
