I have a crazy wackage little crackpot theory about this song um and not to mention so this is my number one song off the record so I feel very strongly about it anyway. To me the song is a complete story and every single part of it verse to verse to chorus to chorus is about different moments in her career and her life where she realized that she was all alone up until the end. The bridge is 1989 era starving her blood soaked gown easy looking. She did ride in a taxi in her promo commercial for the 2009 VMAs.
