The Rise and Fall of the Sunday Times
Tony Howard was a great talent spotter. Bruce Page, who came from the Sunday Times Insight team, decided it should be an investigative outfit. He would allow quite a long articles with sort of discussing problems with monetarism which then would have a large amount of mathematics in it. But he did have someone such as Duncan Campbell, who was a tremendous investigative reporter and did produce a lot of scoops actually. The quality of the people that Tony Howard could gather around him was astonishing.
