Air of the Empire: A Look at Disney's Role in the Thrawn Trilogy

Air of the Empire gives us a big clue that they are going to be cherry picking from the Thrawn Trilogy. It could have something to do with royalties. We do know through guys like Alan Dean Foster that Disney does sometimes get the short arms when it comes to cutting those royalty checks, you might say. There's some thought out there that Shin could be a proxy character for Mara Jade and that Balen could be aproxy character for Joris Sabeoff. So... We'll see. Yeah.
