Joshua: I spent hours with norma mc corvey, who died a few years ago. She told me she had been used by both sides of this war and wasn't even sure of what had actually happened. So i went back and searched through every record possible to see if norma had mentioned something contrary to what she later said publicly. And so for example, i found a woman named glinda hyman, who was norma's first living girl, frend, first serious girl fend. They were living together when norma had just given birth to that first child and still had her. It was a combination of finding early, early sources and finding people who were there
