Google's Revenue Growth in the Quarter
I think we should start with some earnings because it's always kind of fun to go back and forth between alphabet and meta platforms. Google came in for the quarter at $69.8 billion, which was up 3% year over year. If you take out the foreign exchange impact, they grew by 6%. So businesses that are earning a lot of revenue in foreign currencies, especially the euro and a couple of currencies where there's been quite a big shift, then once it comes back into US dollars, it doesn't contribute as much to growth.
