The Eucharist Doesn't Have a Time Warp
Despite what you hear, the eucharist doesn't involve a time warp. The church teaches that the real presence remains for as long as the elements appear to be bread and wine. But when they no longer look like bread and wine, the real presence ceases. Does that mean that christ is no longer present? So far as i am aware, the church has no teaching on this, and the matter is disputed. For example, saint thomas aquinas holds that christ is still present even though the elements no longer look Like Bread And Wine.
