Selena Goden's the Osho

Selena Goden is a poet and the Osho. This is definitely a poet's novel, it seems to me. It's all about language and images and ideas rather than characters and plot. We learn early on that Wolf's mother died in a fire in a tower block but he managed to escape. So, I mean, that's the tragedy at the back of the book, I suppose.
