The Politics of Johnston's Resignation
All three opposition parties, which represent a majority of the House of Commons in a minority parliament have voted for his frame to step down. In some ways, it's an answer to that to that motion that was adopted. The other thing opposition parties in Ottawa took issue with is that Johnston recommended that there not be a public inquiry,. But public hearings instead is what he's saying we should do.
