The Evolution of Sports Media

The sports media in the late as you say, early to mid 2000s really began to lean into athletes doing that kind of thing. But what ended up happening was they ended up just pushing all of sports into culture wars more generally. Now every athlete of any kind of place speaks out in a lot of different ways. The sides have kind of claimed their individual thing. And I think we are all poor for it,. Quite honestly, not people expressing their views as the problem, but that we have these separate communities.
