The Unconditional Love of a Parent

A family member who had a son that got into drugs and finally they had to just say I can't rescue you again if you go to jail. The child ended up getting arrested but the first person that they came back to afterwards was his parent. They were with them through it but they had to let that child eventually crash and burn in that situation. That would be that unconditional love that you don't burn the bridge unless it's unsafe for you or there are situations where it could be unsafe for you.
