After the pandemic, disney realized it need to make a bunch of operational changes. They took away the free fast past option and just kind of pushed everyone into this paid up grade who wants to use it. Financially, it's been a wild success for them. Summer is not bad any more. But in terms of crowds, high season at walt isney world is now the spring. Spring break season is by far and away. This is by far the lowest crowds of the year disney land in California.
