How to Structure Research and Measure It

If you don't have some kind of structure around the researcher doing, then you'll just spend time learning. I think there are three techniques that would help you to structure this kind of research and actually measure it. The first one is writing down some kind of acceptance criteria so you know when you're done. So once that's done and reviewed and everyone's, you know, happy with the result, that's your acceptance. And then the third thing is to completely time-box your research and say, I will take three days and no more than three days. Whatever I have at the end of three days, that's what we have, whether it's complete or not.
