The more Google knows about you, the better it can guess what you might really be searching for. This is why Google wants to collect as much data as possible in order to show you more targeted search results and of course more targeted adverts. The relevance of a search result also depends on the content of the webpage, of the words on the website. And by good quality, Google means web pages, websites that are trustworthy, ones that will provide accurate information.
