Some have doubted Cash and Landrum's claims about having seen the helicopters. Unsolved Mysteries interviewed every individual living within five miles of this area. At least 10 people reported seeing the UFO, seven to eight reported seeing the helicopters. Two of the people who saw the helicopters were a police officer named detective Sergeant Lamar L Walker and his wife Marie.
