The Role of Muscle in Athletic Performance

I'm like watching either a child run and play or watching track and field with younger athletes is really interesting. They haven't hit maturity or got more muscle yet. It seems to me that so often it's almost like we follow this trend. We grow up when we're kids, we play, we move, and then we get into more of a high performance funnel. And then people start getting hurt or they get dinged up from that the hourglass goes the other way in terms of returning to your roots, so to speak.
