How to Measure Bubbles in a Storm

Bubbles help the ocean breathe and we want to understand that breathing process. This boy will spend six weeks on a research internship somewhere just south of Greenland in what appears to be a semi-permanent storm. It's got a GPS tracker on it so we'll know more or less where it is but the hard spot in a massive great big ocean even a big red lollipop is quite hard to spot.
