The Black Knight of Germany
The movie is absolutely about chivalry. In fact, Ernst Kessler's character, when he's introduced by Dilhofer, is the Black Knight of Germany. And then in the end, when they're having their final fight together, because they don't have guns and they come charging at each other in front of everybody, like five feet off the ground, flying at each other and semi collide their wings together,. That's jousting that they're doing. These are knights of the air. I guess what I'm getting at is Waldo, I think is the most chivalrous, honorable and truthful person in the movie, despite the lie.
