F. Droid: A Free Software Project
The F. Droid is the same as the Debian free repository. And you wouldn't have anything that would be inDebian non free. Free software is open source, it just depends on which community you belong to. The one thing questions to ask is what you do about apps that contain undesirable behaviors. Because when I look at F. Droid, I see quite a lot of software there that does a lot of things that are quite personal,. like VPNs and things.
