The Problem With the Obligation of Hijab

As Muslim women, our understanding of the obligation of hijab was never a problem. Only until Western nations, colonized, came into our countries and colonized us. The first controlled general in Egypt, from 1878 to 1879, was a man called Lord Koma who had a real problem with Islam. He argued that westernized Christianity elevated the status of women while Islam taught that women should be delegated through the veil.
