The Experiential Aspect of Horror
A lot of people don't seem to understand, especially about horror, is that what's scary is not knowing. Once you learn that in the third act, if you win, that's when the story's over. And so if you, especially when horror movies, monster movies, when they front load all the reveals and all the expo, it's like, well, I don't even, what's the point of watching anymore? "I can't watch 90 plus percent of television because I kind of look at TV as like the medium where everyone sits around talking"
